Sarah qualified with an MA and diploma in child and adolescent psychotherapy and counselling in 2010 and initially worked with teenagers and parents (mainly in schools).
Alongside this Sarah ran a private practice working with adults and couples, and was also a tutor and group supervisor for psychotherapy students at my former college for a number of years.
Sarah now work primarily with adults, using my experience with young people and weaving in my business experience, post qualifying trainings, and other modalities that concern mind and body, to inform my therapeutic approach.
Mandy's passion has always been people, and not just people but their mental health, movement, and well-being. Mandy has been exposed to many life-changing events that have moulded her into the person she is today. A person who wants and has the ability, to support others.
Over the last twenty years, Many has worked in many organisations with a diverse range of people teaching her patience and deepening my empathetic understanding, these diverse and rich environments have helped her master my communication and listening skills. Throughout her professional journey, She has noticed that stress, anxiety, and depression don’t discriminate. With this in mind, through her counselling practice, She strives to offer you a space that feels safe, that is confidential and accepting of you as you are. Also, one of trust, as she believes you are your own expert, giving way to us exploring and processing thoughts and feelings, a space to empower you and a space where you are heard.
As a person-centred counsellor, she is focused on working with you at your own speed with grace and respect. She takes direction from you, this means you bring the material you wish to explore and we do, step by step, with no judgment. You will be met with unconditional positive regard, congruence and empathy from her, no matter what you bring to the sessions. There is no doubt counselling can be hard work, but she also acknowledges the potential for it to be empowering.
